BLUE LINE SCUBA Policies:

First it is vital that our students be aware that many of us are active duty Public Safety Divers and as such we are on call. A critical incident would take priority over diver training, and while we strive to avoid disappointment, it could happen. A reschedule will be accomplished as soon as possible.

Payment is due when courses are initially scheduled at One More Chance Scuba. Once we have received that payment, you will receive an online course code from BLS/SDI. Payments are non-refundable. Once your online training has been completed, we will schedule your pool dive. Check the Calendar on this site and contact Carrie at OMCS 843-573-7573 to get scheduled for your pool session and Checkout Dives 1 & 2 and Checkout Dives 3 & 4 (these will be 2 separate days, as you cannot do 4 dives in one day). You have one year from the purchase date to complete the course and six months from the pool dive to complete your open water days. Anything further will be required to start over and pay again.

Open water dives are subject to weather issues and may have to be rescheduled at the discretion of BLS and mother nature. While we will do our best to get you certified prior to planned trips, please do not wait until the last minute! Summer is hurricane season around here and we could easily lose a week or even two of diving. Failure to plan is planning to fail!

Blue Line scuba can accept payments in cash, credit card or via Paypal or Venmo. Checks will have to clear. Private Open Water Courses are available as well. They cost a bit more, but if you want one on one instructor time we can make it happen. Additionally, family and group rates for three or more members can save you money! Are you a first responder or member of the military? We have special rates for you and your family.

In the event you require additional quarry days past the two we plan for your class, you will be responsible for the $25 per day quarry fees. This is a rare occurrence, but we don't like throwing surprises at you! We do not make any money off the quarry fees as it is paid direct to the owner. All fees are non-refundable.

Dive fees if we travel to do your course are not included in the cost of the course. For example, if we go to Blue Grotto to do your deep dives, the cost of diving the grotto/travel/hotel is NOT included.

Our instructors have the final say over any diver, dive, and dive site. If onsite they do not feel the dive is safe, that it exceeds the divers' capacity, or the site is unsafe they have a duty to and will cancel. BLS reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
